THE NEW TESTAMENT is the second part of the Bible. He tells the life of Jesus and his disciples. The disciples of Jesus understood that he was the Messenger of God, the king of the line of David who would establish peace among the nations. It was he Christ, announced by the prophets, who was to save his people of their sins.
